Tropical Moose started with one question: what would you wear if you lived for the beach and the mountains?
Meet the Moose. He grew up in the shadow of Denali, where the snow never quite melts and the mountains touch the sky. He skied it, snowboarded it, and jumped out of planes over it as an Army paratrooper. Then he followed the coastline south, all the way to the tropics, and picked up a surfboard and a set of scuba fins. Somewhere along the way he grew a very long beard and never took his shades off. These days he spends his mornings on the back porch: rocking chair, coffee, mountains in one lens and ocean in the other. Then he grabs his gym bag and heads to class. The Moose never slows down.
That's the spirit behind everything we make: family gear for people who chase sunshine in the summer and snow in the winter, who play pickleball on Saturday and build sandcastles on Sunday, and who want the kids along for all of it.

Tropical Moose is a small, family-run brand based in Edmond, Oklahoma. We're about as far from both the ocean and the mountains as you can get, which might be exactly why we dream about them so much.
